Swami Sivananda Radha (1911-1995) was a pioneer in the development of yoga in the West. In 1963, she established Yasodhara Ashram in BC Canada, a retreat and study centre that endures to this day. She has written inspiring books on yoga such as ‘Kundalini Yoga for the West’ and ‘Hatha Yoga: the Hidden Language’. By integrating yogic practices with personal development techniques, the yoga at Yasodhara encompasses the teachings of the East and translates them for our Western Lifestyle.
In 2008 I took the three month Yoga Development Course at Yasodhara Ashram, and subsequently trained as a teacher. Since that time I have regularly returned to the Ashram in to re-certify as a teacher of Hidden Language Hatha Yoga.
Come to a taster class of Hidden Language at my home in Enfield, or join me for Satsang, a time of devotional chanting and spiritual reflection.
